The 2022 Grüner Veltliner Hefeabzug is exactly the same wine as the Zwickl, i.e. harvested in Mautern and Stein and vinified in stainless steel, just filtered and clear. While it has varietal Grüner Veltliner fruit and primary notions of pear, it is less textured and does not seem quite as fresh as its unfiltered, lees-scented sibling. The same mild freshness makes it fruity and smooth. (Bone-dry)(AK)
