This stunning 100% pot still Jamaican rum is a blend of Clarendon and Long Pond distillates. The molasses is fermented between 1 and 3 weeks and distilled on the Vendome still at Clarendon and the John Dore still at Long Pond. Aged for 1-3 years in ex-bourbon casks, the rum is then brought to France for further continental aging in ex-Cognac casks. The rum receives no dosage and shows off the bright and funky flavors of Jamaican pot rum beautifully. Super complex and smooth, this rum is a wonderful achievement and should be a staple in any's collection. 93 points Beverage Testing Institute: "Gold color.
