Produced by the Tsutsumi Distillery in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan, this is a unique yuzu-flavored Japanese vodka. Distilled from a pure rice base, the yuzu pulp and peels undergo maceration and further pot distillation. The peels are then macerated again post-distillation for a week. This process imparts vibrant yuzu notes to the nose and an equally invigorating palate, characterized by yuzu peel with nuanced hints of jasmine blossom and underripe mango. Lightly filtered, it may contain minimal sediment from the yuzu peel maceration. Boasting an ABV of 35%, this vodka leverages the complex flavors and aromas of yuzu. Mixed into OKA VODKA pre-bottling, the increased citrus intensity provides an engaging balance to its approachable ABV.
