The Russell's Reserve Single barrels have long been some of the finest K&L has to offer, but only recently has the broader public become aware of the extreme quality and complexity that they can offer. We've been travelling to the famous distillery in Tyrone, KY for over a decade and have been lucky enough to select barrels by hand with three generations of Russell's. This batch of barrels is second to none and presents a cross section of distillation from the fall of 2014 aged in either the Q or K warehouses. What is shocking is the overall quality and the diversity across the range of otherwise similar barrels. Some are sweeter, earthier or spicier, but ALL of these barrels are exceptional.
