Reviewed December 2024The 2022 HGIII is floral, lifted and quite attractive. Crushed flowers, red berries, white pepper and orange peel lend notable brightness. Much of this fruit is from vineyards in South Napa, surely an asset in 2022. (AG)

A blend of Merlot, Petit Sirah, Malbec, and other varieties, the 2022 HG III is a juicy, medium-bodied, wonderfully delicious red that has pretty red and black fruits, some nicely integrated background oak, soft tannins, and a great finish. It's very much in the upfront, delicious, mouth-filling style of the vintage.
