George Dickel 15 Year Old "101.2 Proof Barrel #04B18-1580" Single Barrel Tennessee Straight Whiskey

These Dickel single barrels now represent without a doubt the best value in American whisky on the market today in terms of years for your dollar. Yes they're labelled as 15 years, which would be old enough, but these barrels are all bottled at significantly higher ages than is stated on the bottle. The diversity in the ages of each cask is matched by differences in proof and flavor profile. Strangely this last batch of three casks each had exactly the same proof, 101.2 proof, despite them being different ages. This excellent cask was distilled on February 18th of 2004 and bottledJune of 2021 at the ripe old age of 17 years old. This is a sweet, easy drinking style with lots of woodsy spicy to back it up.
