George Dickel 15 Year Old "K&L Exclusive 101.2 Proof" Barrel #04C04-1559 Single Barrel Tennessee Whisky (750ml)

Dickel has finally stepped up their single barrel game to reflect the impeccable aging stocks in their warehouses....almost. We snagged a set of 5 barrels all under the new 15 year label. Comically the same "problem" that plagued Dickel's 9 year barrel program continues. Once again Dickel bottles older whisky than the bottle states. The barrel codes for all 5 of our barrels indicate distillation on March 4th, 2004. We don't have exact bottling dates, but given that we selected them at the end of 2021 and they just arrived in the second week of March, 2022 - we can deduce that they were bottled just shy of their 18th birthdays. The yields are tiny and we have 3 very different proofs amongst the 5 barrels. Barrel Barrel #04C04-1559 yielded just 6 cases of precious liquid at 101.2 proof.
