The second release of Haystack Needle from Redwood Empire comes without any cask finishing. This is just pure 14-year-old Indiana Bourbon at cask strength. 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley. A big, extracted oak character featuring vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch meshes with intense baking spices, dried figs, dates, and a stunning depth and complexity. This barrel only yielded 102 bottles.
