A rich, gentle, and well‑balanced scotch. The inviting smokiness is complemented by a touch of sweetness of dried fruit, gained through maturation in sherry casks. It's aromatic and coats the mouth with a peated, honeyed, tingly sensation. I have found the right scotch that makes me excited to begin my journey of understanding and appreciating the islands style.

Highland Park quickly scrapped the ceramic decanter they re-released the 15 year old in a couple of years ago. Now available in the classic HP glass. In classic Highland Park fashion - the whisky showcases predominantly sherry-seasoned European oak casks and sherry-seasoned American oak casks to bring in a punch of sweet vanilla. Combine that with HP's classic honeyed heather peat and you've got one beautiful whisky from a blue-chip distillery just in time for the holidays.
