Reviewed May 2021Very light in the glass, this bottling explodes with aroma on the nose, delivering scents of thyme and bay leaf as well as plump raspberry and alpine strawberry. That wild forest element is redolent on the palate, where more bay, sagebrush and fennel flavors meet with black raspberry and, on the finish, a hint of damp soil. (MK)

This wine has a savory, foresty feel to its youthful flavors. It's all spiced plum and pine tips in the aroma, but becomes more complex with air, the spixe, like amaro or mostarda, adorning cool strawberry fruit. It's showing promise; let it rest in the cellar six months before opening with grilled squid. *Best Buy*
