Reviewed October 2020Almond and spiced pear with a note of fresh green apple. Nice richness to the fruit and good acidity really lifts this wine to the finish, a slight note of hay and chamomile. Very good. 17/20 points (AC)

The Demeter-certified biodynamic 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc includes the six authorized white varieties of the appellation, including the rarely seen Picpoul and Picardan. Pristine and pure, it's a medium-bodied whirl of citrus with touches of floral and mineral notes. Don't look for opulence and sur-maturité here—you'll find tension and freshness instead. (JC)
