Backbone 11 Year Old K&L Exclusive Single Barrel Bourbon (750ml)

From the folks who brought you Redemption Rye comes a new project - Backbone Bourbon. Given the exceptional industry contacts, Backbone has been able to source some very old whisky from MGP in Indiana. Distilled in July of 2008 and bottled in November 2019, this 11 year bourbon has an unusual but compelling profile. It is slightly lighter in body than you'd expect given the age, but overcompensates for any missing weight with tons of bright flavors dominated by zesty candied orange peel and freshly cut cedar. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered clocks in at 56.2%ABV.
