Four Roses "K&L Exclusive" Single Barrel OESF (9 years, 11 months) Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

Another four casks of Four Roses Bourbon are upon us, this time around a nice range of various ages and styles to showcase the diversity from one of Kentucky's finest institutions. The OESF formula whiskey is the brightest and the liveliest of the bunch, with real classic bourbon flavor that explodes right on the first sip. Sweet vanilla tones combine with flowery and fruity accents before building towards a woody and spicy finish. At 52%, however, the whiskey is never overtly hot or out of balance. The lower proof keeps the intensity of the flavors at the forefront, allowing them to shine instead of the alcohol. A fun choice for cocktail fans who want a little punch in their punch.
