Faultline "Jaime Hernandez Special Edition" Absinthe (750ml)

While St. George was first to the American absinthe market once the ban on wormwood spirits was lifted back in 2007, they've only ever released their mainstay formula since that time. This special K&L exclusive Faultline edition of St. George absinthe marks the first time the distillery has released any other form of absinthe since that historic first launch. Darker, greener, yet surprisingly much softer on the palate, the anise is toned down in favor of more herbaceous flavors, giving it almost a Chartreuse-like flavor profile, albeit without the sweetness. Adorned with strikingly-gothic artwork from artist Jaime Hernandez, this limited edition formula (which was the most popular of the three expressions at our launch party) won't be around long.
