Columbia Crest's H3 Cabernet Sauvignon is a perennial value and very, very tough to beat at this price. The 2012 blend is 94% Cabernet, 4% Merlot and 2% Syrah. The winery's tasting note: "This bold Cabernet opens with flavors of black cherries and blackberries with a touch of currants and vanilla, complemented by earth and mineral notes. Deep berry flavors lead to a soft tannin cocoa finish."
