Reviewed March 2013Part of the natural wine movement, this organically farmed blend of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Alicante shows harmony and elegance. It shows some age too, with aromas of tar, licorice, cassis, prune and dark tobacco. It feels supersmooth and silky.

Smells so much riper than the Feudo Cavaliere from the same vintage - damson and plum fruit. Some undergrowth reveals the development in bottle. Rich with a tangy, spicy, long finish.
