2008 Ruggeri Corsini "Agramakow" Pinot Nero Langhe

This 100% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) leads with aromas of blueberry, cherry, and warm earth spice, with subtle hints of forest floor. There is excellent concentration on the palate though the overall impression is lifted. Baking spice dots the mineral-accented finish. Located in Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of Piedmont's Langhe district, Il Podere Ruggeri Corsini was founded in 1995 by Loredana Addari and Nicola Argamante who purchased a working farm that previously sold its grapes to local wineries pursue the dream of making wine of their own.
