Bache Gabrielsen XO Natur & Eleganse Cognac (750ml)

Bache XO Natur & Eleganse is the result of a long thoughtful journey. It represents the new guard of cognac, bucking centuries of tradition in a region not at all prone to change. Led by a group of young charentais, the cognac house's Nordic roots are evident right on the bottle, but they are anything but stuck in the past. The XO results from a close collaboration between Bache's Cellar Master, Jean Philippe Bergier and his distillers. Designed from still to store to be additive free (with the exception of water), Bache pulls it off with flying colors. "Natur" implies the non-use of additives, no sugar, no caramel, no boisé; "Eleganse" hints at the smooth and subtle style that was achieved without the use of those balancing elements. Soft dried fruit, rich restrained oak, subtle floral, supple texture and a great finish. Please note that this product will be significantly lighter bodied that cognac of similar ages because the no artificial caramel coloring was added. We have the best price in the country.
