"Outstanding!" according to Allen Meadows: "As one would reasonably expect, this is decidedly finer with really lovely high-toned red berry and raspberry fruit aromas nuanced by obvious minerality and hints of spice and underbrush that lead to sweet, delicious and admirably complex flavors that possess excellent balance and solid phenolic maturity. This is really quite attractive and while it's not especially concentrated, this is a delicacy and finesse that I find quite seductive." (Burghound.com, Apr 01, 2006) According to Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Palish red. Redcurrant, mint, spices and a peppery nuance on the nose. Supple and sweet; less ripe than the '05 but in a fruitier, more supple style. Despite brisk acidity and peppery and herbal notes, this leanish wine avoids coming off as hard." (Mar/Apr 07)
