The 2023 Haut-Bergeron has quite a complex bouquet that needs coaxing from the glass, revealing pure botrytised fruit, honeysuckle and beeswax scents and a touch of jasmine. The palate is well balanced, with a viscous entry, a silver thread of acidity, bright and focused with a lovely, caressing, honeyed finish. Delivers what you want from a Sauternes. (NM)
