2022 Domaine de l'Aigle À Deux Têtes "Les Clous" Savagnin Muscate Côtes du Jura Blanc

Established in 2005 by Henri Le Roy in the Côtes du Jura, Domaine de l'Aigle À Deux Têtes focuses on producing terroir-driven wines from local varietals. The 'Le Clous' is made from 100% Savagnin, known in his sub-region as Naturé. Savagnin is in the Traminer family of grape varieties, a close cousin of Gewurztraminer, though Savagnin is much more citrus driven with high acitiy and a mineral focused palate. The Savagnin Muscate is a rare variant of Savagnin. It is extremely rare with less than 1 hectare under vine.
