Like their 2022 Albarino, this one also errs on the side of clean and crisp. It also has flavors of apricot, lemon mousse and nectarine. The big difference is the mouthfeel. In this case, there is added richness and mouth filling juiciness. This does not translate in any way to fruity or sweet. Just weighty enough to work well with roast chicken or a pork tenderloin. As always, a clean and crisp finish.
Notes
Finca Garabato is a parcel of Valtea's oldest wines. This wine spends a year in tank with extended lees contact. This gives the wine a lovely richness, which really ramps up the flavor and textural qualities of the wine. Still refreshing, only richer than the regular Valtea bottling and ready to take on a meal.
