Linear and with an austere quality to its bright, high acid but harmonious personality. Finishes long and very clean with hints of nectarine and sage. Delicious and refreshing notes of delicate honeyed stone fruits and flower blossoms. The body is saline, clean and mouthwatering with hints of apricot and yellow apple that lead to a lightly mineral driven and palate cleansing finish.

Volcanic soiled, hand-harvested Soave from the high altitude/sloped vineyards in the heart of Brognoligo. Gelmino and Cristina's "Battistelle Eroica" has an heighten nose of fresh ginger, brown pear, yellow apple and bit of white pepper. A more serious bottle than the "Montesei" the lingering finish and texture makes it a good aperitif paring with mushroom quiche.

This 2018 Soave is from an Great vintage that I an finding for Italian whites, offers an elegant nose of sweet herbal flowers: chamomile, elder flower, iris. Pleasant on the palate with a hint of almond, it makes a wonderful aperitif or sipping wine, though it is just as nice with a variety of lighter foods
