This is zippy, full of fresh bright stone fruits on the nose. Apple and pears with a touch of fresh ginger. This gives a bit more of a broader texture and lengthier finish than the brut. Overall a delicious Blanc de Blanc that is a great fit for the section.

Quite approachable butter brioche and gala apple nose, clean toasty finish. Very good one to open for those immediate occassions that you want the Reims-Blancs-de-Blancs style of champagne without breaking the bank.
Notes
This all-estate Blanc de Blancs comes from the western edge of Champagne in Crouttes-sur-Marne. Here the soil mixture of limestone, clay, and chalk gives rich wines with plenty of weight. This wine is very full bodied, even grassouillette, making it perfect for an end of winter aperitif. It will also go very well with all manner of savory pastries and pâté. The wine itself is loaded with buttery brioche and comes across decadently loaded with toast. The best thing about the wine is how focused and fresh it is on the finish — this is dry and long wine with class. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne Buyer)
