Glyph 85H Molecular Spirit Whiskey (750ml)

SKU #1399117

The revolution will not be televised! It will be in your glass. Endless West in San Francisco's Dogpatch has crafted a whisky that contains the molecules that give a traditional Scotch its flavor, aroma, color, and mouthfeel. By using these as their building blocks, Glyph has been assembled from the molecule on up. Ultimately you've got a whisky product made by a completely different process. From the organic chemists point of view, the end product is the same. Glyph is made from pure, natural ingredients sourced from plants and yeasts. The biggest difference is it is made in days, not years, so you can enjoy an endless supply as whatever pace you please and the price remains very reasonable. Made locally in San Francisco in small batches, Glyph won't necessarily replace the other whisky in your cabinet, but it's a hell of an addition to any whisky collection. Try it blind next to Hibiki Harmony and Glenfarclas. You'll find it's slightly different, but has more than passing resemblance.

United States

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.

- With the explosive growth that California's wine industry has seen the past several years, it's easy to view winemaking and grape growing in the Golden State as a recent phenomenon. And while it's true that California's viticultural history is brief compared to several European countries, this state's roots date back well over 200 years. Due to the enormous response to California wine within the United States and worldwide, there are thousands of excellent and diverse wines being produced within the state each year.
