Mostly from Schloss Gamlitz, the 2017 Südsteiermark Sauvignon Blanc is clear, fresh and precise on the nose with white stone fruit and plummy aromas. This is a light, fresh but intense and fruity Sauvignon with gooseberry and kiwi flavors along with intense, juicy peach aromas. A gorgeous and stimulating South Styrian wine that was vinified in stainless steel, it finishes with delicate salinity and finesse. Bottled May 2018 and tasted in July. (SR)
