Both the white and the red Avni bottlings provide fine and accessible introductions to the Lingua Franca lineup. This well-crafted example mixes medium-bodied blue fruits and supporting, citrus-infused acidity. It’s not a big wine, but is on point throughout a focused finish. (PG)

Winemaker's notes: "AVNI Pinot Noir reflects the complex flavor profile of Eola-Amity Hills fruit, born of volcanic soils on hillside vineyards and sourced primarily from neighbors in Hopewell. The wine is medium intense, complex with floral, mineral and red cherry, black plum fruit tones and a long round finish."
