Reviewed May 2018Generous on the nose with ripe blackberry fruit, delicate oak and a smoky herbal note. Well textured on the palate with acidity providing good balance. Youthful but will age. 95% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Malbec.

This wine explodes with aromas of cinnamon stick and oak. The entry is thick and dense on impact, with powerful, polished tannins. Dark cherry, raspberry and dusty clove combine with ease around a palate of structure and grace. (VB)
