Cinnamon Milk Can Moonshine from Backwards Distilling Company in Wyoming is made using a historic 50/50 recipe and then flavored and colored using only whole cinnamon sticks and brown sugar for a lightly sweetened baking cinnamon character. The 50/50 recipe, a favorite with moonshiners in Wyoming uses a 50% corn component to give a mild grainy flavor and a subtle sweetness and a 50% sugar component to create a clean alcohol and increase the yield of the batch. The base spirit is double distilled before being infused with cinnamon and brown sugar.
