And then there's the sexy stunner of the group. This 11 year old. 1999 distilled muscat smells like you just opened a bottle of Trimbach Muscat from Alsace. It smells like wine, no joke. That bold, spicy, fruit cocktail muscat flavor goes through all the way-from beginning to end and is beautifully balanced by the oak. It's soft and warming on the backend, but it's not flabby. Like a great muscat wine, it retains the perfect amount of alcohol and wood. Bravo!! I am in for at least one bottle. It's just stunning.
