2024 Clemens Busch vom Grauen Schiefer Riesling Trocken Mosel

The 2024 Riesling vom Grauen Schiefer is from the gray slate of the Marienburg, from the mid-slope to the top and along the crest. The subtle slate on the nose is still a little yeasty, but its stone savor is beautifully fresh. Saltiness and slenderness define the palate. This is a clean-cut Riesling with bright, incisive acid smoothed by all the extract. It is exciting and wonderfully expressive of the vintage. (Bone-dry) (AK)
