Trevìe is Vietti’s Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, made entirely from Dolcetto sourced from vineyards in Monforte d’Alba, Serralunga d’Alba and Castiglione Falletto. These vineyards have limestone and clay soils, with vines trained to Guyot. Vietti’s current description gives about a week of fermentation in steel, with daily pump-overs to extract color. Malolactic fermentation and maturation also take place in steel tanks.
