Valle Isarco, known as Eisacktal in German, is an Alpine winegrowing valley in Alto Adige. Köfererhof’s 2025 Kerner connects this northern Italian setting with a grape developed in Germany by crossing Riesling with Trollinger—the red variety known in Italy as Schiava Grossa. Despite that red-grape parentage, Kerner is a white variety.
