Pascal Gitton is the current scion at the helm of Domaine Gitton. The estate began life as a 1.5-hectare parcel near Ménétréol-sous-Sancerre that his grandmother farmed in addition to running a bistro and épicerie. The Les Belles Dames comes from a 5-hectare parcel on flint soil and is fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of steel and neutral demi-muids.
