Named for Natalino’s father, Gino, this is the freshest expression of the estate, but it’s far from simple. It carries the signature San Lorenzo texture, with vibrant notes of green almond, citrus pith, and a sharp, saline kick on the finish. It’s a stunning introduction to the house style and one of the best value whites we carry.

Notes

Di Gino carries the name of Natalino Crognaletti’s father, placing a family connection at the center of this Verdicchio. Fattoria San Lorenzo is based in Montecarotto, in the Castelli di Jesi hills of the Marche. The estate’s vineyards are farmed biodynamically, and its history includes selecting and propagating plant material from the family’s older vines. The white Di Gino is the starting point in a range built around Verdicchio. It spends six months on its fermentation lees, while concrete fermentation, indigenous yeasts and bottling without fining or filtration belong to the house’s approach. The 2025 sits within that sequence of whites, whose different periods of lees aging are a defining part of the estate’s work.
