A lovely white with green mangoes and pineapple, white flowers and a hint of flint. Medium to full body with depth, intensity and plenty of fruit. Tangy at the end. Very complete. Drink now. (JS)

Pouring a bright silver/yellow hue, the 2024 Roero Arneis is immediately appealing. Aromatically, it offers white peach, melon, chive, fresh basil, and wet stone. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and light on its feet, with a clean, refreshing feel that favors drinkability over weight. This is straightforward, well-made, and highly approachable while it remains fresh. Drink 2026-2028. (AF)

Bruna Giacosa sources this iconic bottling from long-term, trusted growers in choice, sun-drenched sandy amphitheaters across the Roero hills, particularly Santo Stefano Roero and Vezza d'Alba. Vinified with traditionalist rigour, the juice is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel and aged for several months on the fine lees, completely avoiding malolactic fermentation and heavy oak makeup to preserve the crystalline, high-toned edge that defines the house style.
