The 2024 Manincor "La Contessa" Terlaner (Alto Adige DOC) is a brilliantly alpine, multi-varietal white blend that beautifully captures the cool-toned energy of the Terlano zone. Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg crafts this classic blend—predominantly Weissburgunder (Pinot Bianco), filled out with Chardonnay and a touch of Sauvignon Blanc—from high-altitude, biodynamically farmed estate vineyards overlooking Lake Caldaro. Rooted in mineral-rich soils of weathered limestone and volcanic porphyry, the wine is fermented spontaneously and raised in large, neutral oak casks (60%) and stainless steel (40%) with extended lees contact, prioritizing broad textural substance over sweet wood makeup.
