Lloyd Distillery Bixby Gin (750ml)

This 2020 and 2026 Gold Medal Winner at San Francisco World Spirits Competition was inspired by a springtime hike in Big Sur. From the Distiller: "Bixby Gin was born to be tremendous. Handmade with distiller designed distillation equipment. ... Bixby honors California’s exposed Pacific mountains with floral and savory complexity that runs alongside wildflowers and exposed chaparral. All ingredients are foraged, farmed and sourced. Elderflower, chamomile and California grown orange and lime peel lead the experience with aromatics. Sage, coriander and rosemary carry the momentum across mid palate. A nice juniper finish is long and mellowed with other botanicals. Distilled over direct fire." 3.5/4 stars from The Gin is In: "Sage, coriander and pine forward with a complex, aromatic nose with herbal and green facets. Jammy with sweet orange rind, rose hip jam leading into heady coriander with rosewood facets on the finish. Moderately long finish with spice and floral notes shrouded in a camphorous sage haze. Juniper is quiet, but present."
