This is the real deal clay pot distilled mescal. Tio Rey does it again with this stupendous oily unctuous funky style. Sweet agave fruit dense mesquite smoke and tons of vegetal earthiness. An absolute pleasure to drink although it can kind of take over you night/life if you're not careful.

This is the new, highly allocated "Red Label" from the very traditional producer in Sola de Vega, Tio Rey. Each tiny batch has a blend of different wild agave and cultivated Espadin and produced in the ancestral method. Clay pot distillation.
