Currently, we can accept online orders for non-gift shipments going to Japan and South Korea. Please note that duties, taxes, and tariffs due in Japan and South Korea are not included in our quoted shipping rates. Within "Your Account" you may enter your address in Japan or South Korea. You are responsible for determining your customs charges, and they will be due COD upon delivery in your country. Gift orders to Japan and South Korea usually require pre-payment of the duties and taxes. For this reason we cannot take gift orders online. Duties and Taxes shall be collected by Korea Customs Service - Hanjin Express will do the import customs clearance process on behalf of customer and will ask your Residential Identification Number. You will need to provide your Residencial ID No. at the time of customs clearance. After finishing all the import customs clearance process, customs declaration and payment of all Duties and Taxes, then the Hanjin Express can deliver the wine.

An individual cannot import more than one bottle per day, not to exceed one liter.

Prices on our site exclude duties and taxes in Korea - Please note that duties, taxes, and tariffs due in Korea are not included in our quoted shipping rates. You are responsible paying all charges and duties to the Korea Custom Service before the import customs clearance. Our partner, Hanjin Express, will contact you and do the Customs clearance on your behalf.

Age regulation in Korea - You must be over 19 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from K&L Wine Merchants. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" sticker.

Non-Gift and Personal Use Only - Currently, we can accept online orders for non-gift shipments going to Korea. It means that the order placement, payment and receipt must be done by the same person. Also according to the Korea Customs Regulation, you have to sign and submit the "Declaration for Personal Use Only" to the Korea customs.

Shipping period - After the wine is released from K&L (typically within 1-2 days of receiving your order), our logistic partner, Hanjin Express, will provide 5-6 Day International Air Express Service. Normally it will take 6-7 days from the date of your order before it is ready for Korea customs clearance.
