Warehousing and Operations Associate

Current openings available in our Redwood City location

Wine retailer (K&L Wine Merchants - www.KLWines.com) is looking for a Warehouse and Operations Associate. Applicants must be extremely detail-oriented, good with computers, and efficient team players. You will need to be obsessed with ensuring the accuracy of our inventory.

You will be helping other operations and sales staff members by loading inventory transfers (physically and within the computer system) between locations (San Francisco, San Carlos Redwood City and Los Angeles), receiving in new purchases (both physically and within the computer system), labeling products, and doing some customer deliveries (clean driving record is a requirement). In addition, your responsibilities will include managing the order queue of in-store pick ups. These are orders from our customers that are made online and on the phone, for in-store pickup. You will be logging into our computer system, printing out these orders as pick tickets, pulling the order together, processing the credit cards and notifying the customers that the orders are ready for pickup.

We sell thousands of different wines. Many of them are difficult to distinguish from each other. A previous wine background is an advantage, but a willingness to learn everything you can in order to minimize mistakes and be effective in your job is absolutely required.
