Reviewed January 2020From what could be considered the home ranch of winemaker Russell Bevan, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard is another killer wine, offering a singular, exotic even, bouquet of black and blue fruits, lavender, raspberry white chocolate, baking spices, and cedary incense. This beauty is a monster on the palate, with a powerful, full-bodied profile, yet it stays perfectly balanced, has ripe tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. It’s another brilliant wine in the lineup and it’s easily a 25+ year wine. Bravo! (Drink between 2023-2048)
