Bluegrass Distillers' Elkwood Reserve 18 Year Old Single Barrel Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

This rare old single barrel of Kentucky Bourbon is truly one of a kind. The wonderful folks at Bluegrass Distillers liberated this old barrel from an undisclosed distiller's warehouses and bottled the old timer at a full tilt cask strength of 129 proof. The Elkwood Reserve line has never been sold in California and the limited batches sell out in the few markets lucky enough to get access to their old stocks. The origin of this special old barrel is obscure but the mashbill (74% corn, 18% rye, 8% malt) hints at a source, one that has not released any whisky close to as old as this excellent product. Only a small handful of bottles will make it from the bottlers warehouses to our store. For those seeking very old and very rare bourbon, this will be one not to over look.
