Stunning combination of concentration, spot on balance and a wealth of stone and citrus fruits, listing all of which would take up too much space. Very long finish in which mango and mineral flavors are beautifully interwoven. Drink or hold.

The 2019 Riesling Estate was made from about 60% of grand cru grapes, essentially the young vines from Schoenenbourg and a tiny bit of Sporen plus old vines of the estate. It has an earthy, smoky nose with a touch of pineapple. The palate has already started to become more viscous, intensifying the pineapple note and refining it with ripe orange zest. This is a dollop of deliciousness, dripping with fruit but also zesty. Rounded, smooth, rich, yet focused. There are just 3.2g/L of residual sweetness - so this is beautifully dry. (Dry)(AK)
