Balsamic aromas of camphor mingle with pressed rose, wild berry, new leather and dark spice. Showing intensity and structure, the full-bodied, delicious palate boasts a weightless concentration, delivering fleshy raspberry, blood orange, almond liqueur and licorice alongside tightly woven, velvety tannins. Fresh acidity lifts the rich flavors and provides great balance.

Vivid medium ruby color. The wine is finely tuned, with sweet violets, leafy lightness and red currants. Medium-bodied on the palate with violet notes, velvety tannins, refreshing acidity and a long, crisp finish. There is sternness here but personality.

In this vintage, the Rabajà was served third from last in a flight of nine owing to its depth and robust mouthfeel. The Produttori del Barbaresco 2019 Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà is saturated and dark with a tight core of blackcurrant that is framed by crushed stone, spice and a sweet hint of smoked meat. This vineyard, renowned for its calcareous limestone soils interwoven with sandy veins, spans 3.7 hectares and benefits from a south-western exposure at an ideal elevation. The result is a terroir that imparts structure, finesse, and complexity to the wine. Crafted using traditional methods, this Barbaresco Riserva is aged for a minimum of 36 months in large oak barrels, followed by additional bottle aging. The wine pours a brilliant garnet red, exuding aromas of wild berries, pressed roses, and dark spices, along with balsamic hints of camphor and leather.
