If you love Chassagne-Montrachet, but don't love paying over $100, run to grab some of this fantastic En Remilly 1er cru before it is gone. The almost pineapple like fruit is perfectly balanced with a deep nutty character and the wine has depth and complexity of a wine twice its price. The balance of acidity is exquisite and the finish shows off the hidden concentration in the wine.

This can arguably be the most famous version of St. Aubin from Sylvain Langoureau. To me, it always seems to be the most complex. A little more drawn back and taut with a tad more citrus and seaside scents and flavors. Tart green apple, yellow pear, minerals, spice and neutral oak. Quite clean and crisp, with a very long and lingering finish. Screams out for shellfish. I see scallops or bouillabaisse paired with it. The perfect meal!

While Domaine Sylvain Langoureau may not be a household name, we anticipate it will become the go-to producer for those who enjoy artfully crafted wines that combine a pronounced citrus element with crisp acidity and a touch of minerality. This family-run estate does everything by hand, is committed to low yields, and focuses on conveying each site's distinctive terroir.
