The Diplomatico Mantuano is a smooth rum that will be enjoyed by anyone that is a fan of Venezuelan rum. It has notes of dried orange peel, caramel, cola nut, and vanilla. Mantuano is similar to Diplomatico's Reserva Exclusiva (Diplomatico's green bottle rum), but drier with bigger notes of citrus.

Notes

Drier and more robust than the famed Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva, the new Mantuano edition is a marriage of Venezuelan rums between two and eight years of age, 40% pot still and 60% column. Aged entirely in ex-Bourbon and ex-Scotch whisky casks, the result is a woodier and less sweet style in a style and at a price that should please serious fans of the genre.
