George Dickel K&L Exclusive 9 Year Old Single Barrel #05A04B1212 Tennessee Whiskey (750ml)

SKU #1268244

Single cask selections from George Dickel have become some of the most coveted bottles among K&L American whiskey customers, mainly because the sweetness and the richness of the Tennessee whiskey seems to come through like a laser beam at 51.5%; taking what is normally a mellow, creamy, and drinkable sour mash whiskey and dialing the intensity up to full speed. We're also not able to secure K&L single cask selections with the frequency that we're able to choose barrels from other distilleries, making the Dickel releases that much rarer in the eyes of our customers. But never fear, whiskey drinkers: we've got three new casks in stock right now and ready to rip! Barrel #05A04B1212 has the most sweet corn flavor on the entry, starting with that classic Dickel mellowness that quickly dials into bold spices, pepper, creme brulee, and charred oak. It continues to crescendo long on the finish with more sweet oak flavors coming through minutes after the last sip. (NOTE:There are no cask indicatiors on the label. Bottle ID code is L6169K1001)

Compared to the other two singe barrels that are in stock this barrel is most subtle. It offers the wonderful soft richness of the Dickel Distillery bit seems more dry than the other two and has some savory notes.

United States

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.
