Magritte's formative masterpiece encourages us to reexamine our own paradigm, forcing us to question both the images we see and the words that we read. Now another master is raising questions about what we accept as reality in the Whisky world. Glaser's commentary on the state of our industry is poignant, despite being rather cheeky, but ultimately differs from Magritte's work in one crucial way. While you could never have stuffed Magritte's Pipe to light and enjoy its fragrant aromas - you are well within the rational realm to expect there to be whisky in this bottle. And what a wonderful, dare I say luxurious, whisky it is. Perfectly put together and magnificently complex, it is indeed the contents of this bottle that make us ask questions, not the image on the label. A true masterpiece by any measure.
