1989 Le Cleméntin du Pape Clément, Pessac-Léognan

This elegant Pessac Leognan is just my kind of Bordeaux! If you like your Bordeaux savory, earthy and complex this is for you. I found this wine to have great layers of developed flavors; chanterelle mushrooms, cassis and smoke were all integrated very nicely. This will make a fine match for the waygu ribeye I bought for this Friday! The values that Clyde continues to find in fully mature claret is one of the best perks of working for K&L... I don't have to make a trip anywhere to buy this stuff, even when it is worth making a long trip for!
